Placitas KDO

childcare for everyone

Go ahead. Catch up on the dishes. Finish that project. The kids are safe with us. :)

Our Program

We offer tons of flexibility when it comes to your childcare needs. Whether you need 1 day of childcare per week or 5 days of childcare Monday - Friday we are here to help!

We also offer After Care - contact us for more info + availabilty.

Here at KDO (formerly MDO) we do art projects, outdoor time, water play, snacks, painting, learn group games, and much more!

Our program has a wonderful facility at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church with fantastic outdoor areas as well as dedicated classrooms just for MDO. We are so thankful to our partners at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church!

Contact us to discuss scheduling options and to learn more about how we can help your children learn, play, and grow in our beautiful Placitas community!

FLEXIBILITY FOR ALL

Our directions, Nicole + Arielei, are both single Moms so we deeply understand parent’s need for flexibility! We offer scheduling that ranges from 1 day up to 5 days of childcare per week. We’ll work with you to set up a childcare schedule that works for your family!

Community events

We seek to deepen our connection to our community in Placitas, so we partake in fun programs like “sponsor a child” where you can help sponsor children’s involvement in MDO and in return receive fun art projects and letters from your sponsored child in your mailbox each month! Talk about happy mail! :)

After Care

We also offer an after care program to parents who need extended hours of childcare! While our regular day program runs from 8am-3pm, we also offer After Care from 3pm-5pm. After care must be set up in advance and cannot be offered on a drop-in-basis so please reach out and let us know if you’re interested in enrolling in our After Care program!

FOcus on learning through play

We want your kids to feel safe, happy, and curious while spending time with us at MDO! We encourage children to explore through play because we know this is how children learn.
